EM-Power can develop microgrids for companies with high energy usage and large available rooftop or ground areas. These microgrids will include battery and energy management solutions to limit the impacts of load shedding.

We fund the entire installation including solar panels and battery backup solutions through power purchase agreements (PPAs), which we sign with our clients. Excess electricity produced is either sold back to the municipality or Eskom depending on the client’s grid connection.
